She married her beloved husband William W. Kerr on October 14, 1970. Together they shared almost 52 years of marriage. Connie was an active homemaker and navy wife. Connie enjoyed being able to see and live in different parts of the world, especially seeing the island of Malta, Italy, Crete Greece and Madrid Spain. She had a keen eye for shopping and could always find the best deals. Connie also enjoyed going to the casino. Above all she loved her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. She will be fondly remembered for her independent, strong, feisty and loving demeanor.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Ronald James Edwards.
